AI intake for contract manufacturers

Porto learns the product, the volumes, the materials and the launch date from each buyer, so your sales engineers quote programs that fit your lines.

Keystone Assembly

AI assistant

Hi, I’m the AI assistant for Keystone Assembly. What product are you looking to have built?

A handheld water quality meter. We need about 5,000 units a year, starting with a pilot run of 500.

Volumes already covered

So it moves on to design status

Thanks. Is the design finished, and do you already have a bill of materials and approved suppliers?

What Porto does for contract manufacturers

Porto replaces the RFQ form on a contract manufacturer’s website with a short AI conversation. It learns the product, the annual volumes, the materials, the certifications required and the launch date, and sends your sales engineers a brief before the first quote review.

What Porto works out in the conversation

These are the topics, not a script. Porto asks only what it still needs, so a visitor who mentions their timeline in the first message never hears that question.

Questions from contract manufacturers

Can Porto quote a production run?

No. It collects what your engineers need to prepare a quote and tells the buyer when to expect it.

What about confidential designs?

Porto asks for a general description first and notes when the buyer wants an NDA before sharing more, so your team can send one.

What if the volume is too small?

You set the minimum order. Porto lets smaller programs know kindly and can point them elsewhere.
